Otter Creek Speedway UPDATE!

Allen’s America’s Speedways lists Otter Creek as having operated from 1961 to 1971, as both a 1/3 and a 1/2 dirt oval. The Vintage Racer site had this track located in Ferrisburg, VT, a couple miles off of Rt. 7. The remains of the track can be found on a farm on a back road. That track is actually not Otter Creek...Otter Creek can be found off Green Street, heading south out of Vergennes. It later ran as "Hillside Raceway" and has also been listed as having run under the name “Rainbow Ridge Speedway”. The track gets its name from the Otter Creek (or Otter River) which runs nearby.
